Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK), is dedicated to promoting breastfeeding through ‘Say Yes To Breastfeeding’ campaign to raise public awareness on the needs of breastfeeding mothers.
UNICEF HK welcomes the establishment of Hong Kong’s first breast milk bank by the Hospital Authority. This initiative will recruit donors to provide breast milk for premature and critically-ill infants, marking a milestone in neonatal medical services.
Hong Kong Breast Milk Bank is a service under the Hospital Authority. Located at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, it coordinates the screening, collection, storage, processing and distribution of donor breast milk, ensures quality and safety, and monitors inventory.
To provide the public with information about the Hong Kong Breast Milk Bank and support those interested in becoming breast milk donors, the official webpage of Hong Kong Breast Milk Bank has been launched.
