HONG KONG, 6 September 2016 – PizzaExpress is founded on the Italian principles, and family is at the heart of any Italian dining experience – pledging our support to ‘Say Yes to Breastfeeding’ campaign organized by Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF completely reinforces those values and demonstrates the commitment we have always made to breastfeeding mums.

We wholeheartedly believe that it is every mother’s right to breastfeed her child and we want to ensure that mum’s across Hong Kong feel supported to do this.

We have identified quieter areas of the restaurants and if these are available, then a mum is very welcome to move into those areas at her request. She is equally welcome to stay put and we will ensure that she is not disturbed. An ample supply of filtered water is always available to our customers so she can be completely hydrated.

As we have always done, we will continue to welcome all customers to our restaurants, and will provide assistance wherever we can and whatever the requirement. The same will apply to our offices and all of our staff, who will also be supported and encouraged to continue feeding their children, as naturally as possible.
