Let’s design the ideal breastfeeding room together! UNICEF HK and Department of Health of HKSAR are co-organizing the "Breastfeeding Room Design Competition" with The Hong Kong Institute of Architects being as supporting organization. The competition would like to invite corporates and public to share their creative ideas for building breastfeeding rooms.

• Corporates
• Professionals

(Architects, interior designers and other related professions are welcome to participate. Please provide related professional credentials, such as license number of registered architects or the membership number of the affiliated professional organization.)

• Individuals

Awards for Each Category:

• Most Innovative Design
• Most Practical Design
• Most Inspirational Design

* Winning entries and awardees will be announced at the World Breastfeeding Week 2024 celebration event.

Prizes for Winners:

• Corporates: A trophy and invitation to the World Breastfeeding Week 2024 celebration
• Professionals: A trophy and cash coupon (valued HKD 1,500)
• Individuals: A trophy and cash coupon (valued HKD 1,500)

Submission:

• Please send your submission, including your name, contact number, and email, to [email protected] with the subject "Submission for Breastfeeding Room Design Competition_your intended category".
• The submission should contain the following information:

1. A graphic design of the breastfeeding room (either design drawing(s) or photo(s) of the existing facility; file size no larger than 8MB).
2. Inspiration behind the design (in either Chinese or English; within 300 words).
3. Applicants wishing to join the Professional group are kindly requested to include their professional credentials, such as the license number of registered architects or the membership number of the affiliated professional organization, in their submission.
